Hi everyone, We just left Yellowstone a few hours ago, and I just thought I'd let you know that we haven't had any phone or internet service for the last six days while we were up there. Yellowstone is incredibly beautiful, and probably ten times the size of Yosemite NP in California. The park just opened a few days before we arrived, so there was still a ton of snow on the ground, as you'll soon see from our pictures, but there were NOT that many people! And the wilflife we saw was awesome...something different everyday. I don't see how we could possibly top what we've seen these last few days! We have a whole lot of pictures to go through before we can post them to the blog, so stick with us!

On the road to Salt Lake City, Utah, May 25, 2012
"I must have gained some weight since the last time I slept here" |
Snow starting to appear on the peaks as we travel north |
Going down that long, lonesome highway... |
Are we there yet? |
Getting close to our destination |
Our campsite view, Springville, Utah |
We thought this was just a pond, turned out to be a lake |
The love shack is looking and running good! |
This white stuff is startin' to worry me! |

Coming into Utah
When we were coming into southwestern Utah, we saw this incredible mountain range, and we couldn't tell where the road went, or how we were going to get across. But as we got closer, we entered into a gorge that was created by the Virgin River, which also flows through Zion National Park. We then came into the city of St. George, where Walt visited an old friend from his high school days.

Meteor Crater
It's estimated that the crater hit the earth over 50,000 years ago
