Gettysburg

Everything is the same as it was in 1863
 

It was hard to believe that a terrible battle was fought here
 

These railroad cuts were partially dug before the war broke out. Hundreds of soldiers used them to take cover from the enemy
 

When a tree dies here, the same kind is replanted in it's place
 

These rock walls served as fences, and were built by farmers before the war
 

"Little Round Top"
 


This picture made me think that it could have looked just like this in 1863
 


The white house and barn were here when the war broke out. Only original structures remain in this area

This was Gettysburg in the 1800's
