Wow Carol...you are living the most awesome dream ever. Isn't this USA a beautiful place? I sure do miss you but I am living vicariously through you and Walt. I have always wanted to do exactly what you are doing. Maybe someday, I will meet up with you and travel a bit.

The lake and Black Hills rock is pretty spectacular. I like the different views of the profiles at Mount Rushmore. I wonder if GB considered facing Washington so he'd be looking at you thru that 'slot' in the rocks... and winking :)
You seem to be in the right place to escape how hot it is in places South of you. We have June gloom, but yesterday it cleared in the early afternoon... to gorgeous!
